Senior Distribution Manager m/f


NIKI Service GmbH, headquartered in Berlin, is a 100% subsidiary of NIKI Luftfahrt GmbH and is responsible for the commercial activities of ​​the NIKI airline for Germany, Austria and Switzerland. NIKI has taken over the touristic routes from Germany and Switzerland and offers its guests, as one of the leading touristic airlines in Europe, flights to various holiday destinations in Europe and North Africa.

We search by order for the NIKI Service GmbH a dedicated Senior Distribution Manager for the Touristic Business Team in Berlin at the earliest convenience.



  • Coordination of internal and external processes in the implementation of new sales technologies and data formats, in particular for dynamic packaging business
  • Commercial contact for providers of distribution systems (GDS / CRS) as well as content and price comparison systems including contract negotiations
  • Monitoring the distribution costs for the touristic sales
  • Design and implementation of cost-efficiency measures to lower distribution costs
  • Quality and market analysis of sales channels (GDS / CRS), especially content and price comparison systems
  • Contract management for tourist distribution systems, as well as administration of cached content users
  • Support and coordination of new projects with a focus on channel optimization
  • Build and transfer distribution knowledge to other team members
  • Represent distribution function in meetings/projects in close alignment with IT and partners



  • University degree preferably in business studies, economics and/or education in the tourism, airline or travel agency industry
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of hands-on experience in a Distribution/Sales role
  • Knowledge in the touristic business is prerequisite
  • Knowledge of revenue management is desired
  • Experience with distribution systems such as Amadeus, Galileo, Sabre, TOMA, Merlin etc. preferred
  • Good knowledge of dynamic Tour Operator business and relevant systems (Cached-Content, Direct Connect)
  • Ability to work independently as well as organizational skills are essential
  • Result oriented, flexible and able to work in a team and under pressure
  • Strong communicative skills while working with colleagues and the management
  • Very good negotiation skills
  • Experience in Project/Change Management is an asset
  • First leadership experience is an advantage
  • English/German, fluent in spoken and written
